These distances are the recommended distances to maintain a safe operation. Distances may vary depending on the projectile, cartridge and type/amount of explosives in the target or IED.
If the target is missed, 200 feet, should be doubled.
Note: The explosives in the target or IED are always the determining factor in calculating the safety zone.

When attaching an electric firing line to any Disrupter, verify that the opposite ends of the wires are shunted (twisted together) to ensure there is no electrical current in the firing line.
