Recoil Absorbing Mechanism (RAM)

The Recoil Absorbing Mechanism (RAM) was designed to accommodate the 20mm Neutrex Waterjet Disrupter when firing from small and medium sized robotic platforms.  It may also be mounted on a disrupter stand.  Based on the design of the 29mm Assembly, the RAM reduces the suddenness of the recoil impact by 40% when robot mounted and approximately 30% when mounted on a stand.  The RAM can be fired using the Neutrex ammunition (40-55 grain).  As with all Proparms Ltd. equipment, the RAM can be operated in all weather conditions.

Safety Tip 2

When attaching an electric firing line to any Disrupter, verify that the opposite ends of the wires are shunted (twisted together) to ensure there is no electrical current in the firing line.
