Following an extensive research and development program in association with the RCMP’s Canadian Bomb Data Center and the EOD Technicians of the Sûreté du Québec, Proparms’ engineering and manufacturing team introduced a Disrupter capable of disarming IED packages of approximately 16 kg (35 lbs.). The operator requires no additional training on this Disrupter. Function and preparation for deployment is the same as for the 20mm Neutrex. With a Recoil Reduced Venturi and Clamp in aluminium, the Unit may still be hand carried. A Gas Cylinder recoil system has been incorporated into the mount so that the Disrupter may be mounted on a robot as well.
Unique Features

• The 29mm Neutrex Disrupter was designed to render safe I.E.D’s larger than 9 kg (20 lbs.) considered to be the upper limit of the capability of the 20mm Neutrex. • Designed to be used against nylon bags, suitcases and other large packages. • The 29mm is too powerful to be used against open explosives such as uncased dynamite. • Established standoff: 5 meters (15 ft.)
When attaching an electric firing line to any Disrupter, verify that the opposite ends of the wires are shunted (twisted together) to ensure there is no electrical current in the firing line.
